Die Fassungsschiene B6-07-1702 ist ein Rohprofil für die vordere rechte Fensterführungsleiste am BMW 600 und wird zur Aufnahme und Führung der Scheibe in der Karosserie verwendet. Da das Profil halbfertig geliefert wird, muss es vom Restaurator individuell gefräst, angepasst und entgratet werden, um Fertigungstoleranzen der Karosserie auszugleichen und eine spannungsfreie Lagerung der Scheibe zu gewährleisten. Gerade bei der Instandsetzung verzogener oder korrodierter Originalleisten ermöglicht dieses Profil eine technisch saubere und originalnahe Rekonstruktion der Fensterumrandung.
