The raw profile of the left-hand mounting rail (Part No. B6-07-17001) serves as the basis for manufacturing a new aluminum window guide strip for the BMW 600. The restorer mills and machines the approximately 2000 mm long profile themselves to precisely adapt the final contour and fit to the specific body. This allows severely damaged or missing original strips to be replaced with custom-made new parts that match the original appearance.
