The B6-06-007 accelerator pedal for the BMW 600 with manual transmission transmits the driver’s foot movement via the 12-mm bore to the cylindrical pedal shaft and thus to the throttle linkage. During restorations, worn-out or corroded original pedals are often replaced to restore smooth throttle response and the original pedal feel. The precise fit of the bore is crucial to prevent play and uneven operation.
