The B6-05-099 shift lever is the central control element of the transmission in the BMW 600 and transmits the driver’s hand movements to the shift mechanism. During a restoration, the lever should ideally be replaced together with the silent block 3-0081 to reduce play, dampen vibrations, and ensure precise gear selection as in the original condition.
