The rear wheel brake cylinder B6-04-132 (12.7 mm, “Schäfer” type) replaces worn or leaking original cylinders on the BMW Isetta rear axle and restores hydraulic actuation of the drum brakes. Corrosion and hardened boots are typical problems, especially in classic car restoration, which can be reliably resolved with a new cylinder complete with an outer rubber boot. For consistent braking performance, it is recommended to replace both rear wheel brake cylinders in pairs and then carefully bleed the brake system.
