The used brake anchor plate B6-04-1285 for the rear left serves as the base for the drum brake on the BMW 600 and must be thoroughly reconditioned before reuse. As part of a restoration, rust, material weaknesses, and worn-out mounts should be removed, and the plate should then be fitted with new brake components. This allows the original brake system on the left rear axle to be restored to technically flawless and authentic condition.
