The cast brake drum B6-04-0870 for the BMW Isetta rear axle provides the friction surface for the rear drum brakes and, as a used original part, is ideal for an authentic restoration. During the overhaul, the friction surface and contact surfaces should be carefully inspected, reworked if necessary, and combined with new brake linings to restore even and safe braking performance. Typical existing damage such as grooves, conicity, or rust must be professionally removed before installation.
