Der Wellendichtring B6-04-061 dichtet die Radnabe des BMW 600 gegen austretendes Fett und eindringenden Schmutz ab und schützt damit die Radlager an Vorder- und Hinterachse. Im Rahmen einer Achs- oder Bremsenrestauration sollten verhärtete oder undichte Dichtringe konsequent ersetzt und die Dichtflächen an Nabe und Gehäuse kontrolliert werden. So wird die Lebensdauer der Lager erhöht und die Betriebssicherheit des Oldtimers verbessert.
