The brake support B6-04-0295 is a redesigned mounting arm for the BMW 600’s brake system and ensures precise mounting of the brake unit on the front or rear axle. By re-turning or re-grinding the bearing surface with minimal material removal, the hardness is preserved, while scarred surfaces serve as oil reservoirs and thus improve lubrication. During restoration, two matching 3-0050 bushings per support should always be replaced to ensure a backlash-free and low-wear installation, thereby guaranteeing permanently precise brake guidance.
