The steering knuckle bolt B6-04-012 (also B7-06-009) connects the steering knuckle of the BMW 600 to the suspension in a rotatable manner and is therefore primarily responsible for steering precision and wheel alignment. During restoration, worn or corroded studs should always be replaced and installed together with new bushings to prevent play and noise. Careful lubrication and a precise fit ensure the long-term functionality of the suspension.
