Der Nadelkäfig B6-03-049 lagert die Gangräder des 1. bis 4. Ganges im BMW 600 Getriebe über Nadelrollen mit hoher Tragfähigkeit und geringem Reibmoment. Im Zuge einer Restaurierung sollten eingelaufene Nadelkäfige und Nadeln konsequent ersetzt werden, da sie sonst zu Geräuschen und Schäden an den Wellen- und Zahnradlaufbahnen führen können. Saubere Montage und ausreichende Schmierung sind entscheidend für eine dauerhafte, verschleißarme Funktion des historischen Getriebes.
