The exhaust pipe B6-02-09655 connects the engine to the heater in the BMW 600 carburetor and routes the exhaust gases tightly and with a positive fit via triangular flanges. For a high-quality restoration, the pipe cross-section, flange flatness, and areas of corrosion should be carefully inspected and repaired if necessary. Cracks and rust-through often occur in these pipes, particularly in the areas of weld seams and flange transitions, and must be professionally repaired before reinstallation.
