This housing for the intake filter of the BMW 600 (Part No. B6-02-0946) forms the flow housing between the intake opening and the carburetor and is designed for an intake manifold diameter of approx. 52 mm. For a professional restoration, sealing surfaces, areas of corrosion, and mountings should be carefully inspected and, if necessary, welded or straightened to prevent air leaks and vibrations. Since the bimetal and flap are missing, the part is particularly suitable for projects in which existing hot-air controls are retained or overhauled separately.
