The right intake manifold on the cylinder head (Part No. B6-02-0810) connects the carburetor to the right intake port on the BMW 600 and ensures a controlled air-fuel mixture flow. During restoration, care must be taken to ensure crack-free walls, flat flanges, and new gaskets to reliably prevent air leaks and the associated loss of performance.
