The B6-02-001990 magneto ignition with matching flywheel (B6-02-001995, Figure C) ensures a complete, battery-free ignition system for the BW 403, 403c, and 425 engines, making it ideal for a faithful restoration of the BMW 600. The matched flywheel ensures a smooth rotational motion and thus stable spark generation. During overhaul, particular attention should be paid to inspecting the bearings, contacts, and magnetization to prevent misfires and starting problems.
