The lower left air duct with long air intake (B6-01-1615) is a central metal panel designed to direct cooling air to the BMW 600 engine. For a professional restoration, the used, unrepaired part should be inspected for corrosion, warping, and cracks and, if necessary, straightened or preserved to restore the original airflow path and thus the engine cooling.
