Der Unterdruckbehälter mit der Artikelnummer B6-01-149 speichert im BMW 600 mit Saxomat den vom Motor erzeugten Unterdruck für die automatische Kupplungsbetätigung und stabilisiert so die Funktion des Systems. Bei der Restauration sollten Behälterwand, Nähte und Anschlüsse auf Korrosion und Undichtigkeiten geprüft und gegebenenfalls fachgerecht abgedichtet oder instandgesetzt werden. Ein technisch einwandfreier Unterdruckspeicher ist entscheidend für ein sauberes Schaltverhalten des Saxomat-Systems.
