Product info
The oil thrower ring B6-01-056 on the alternator side of the BMW 600 engine uses centrifugal force to prevent engine oil from leaking outward along the crankshaft toward the alternator. During an engine overhaul or if oil traces are found in the area of the alternator, this ring (part number B6-01-056) must be inspected and replaced if necessary. This ensures that the seal remains true to the original and keeps the engine compartment of your BMW 600 clean and in safe operating condition.
