The oil thrower ring B6-01-0555 on the clutch side of the BMW 600 engine uses centrifugal force to keep engine oil away from the crankshaft, thereby preventing oil from entering the clutch chamber. An intact oil thrower ring is particularly important during an engine or clutch overhaul to prevent oil loss and slipping clutches. This used part, cleaned and repaired by Günter Brocks, with part number B6-01-0555, is especially suitable for a faithful classic car restoration.
