The B6-01-0433 (also B7-02-028) sliding disc in the vibration damper of the BMW 600 engine forms a low-wear sliding surface between the moving damper components and corresponds to the original BMW equipment. During a restoration, worn or damaged sliding discs must be replaced, as they significantly affect the damping characteristics and smooth engine operation. A new sliding disc ensures the correct relative movement within the vibration damper and protects adjacent components from premature wear.
