Die Membrane B6-01-028 (Bestandsführung 1-0931) wird im Öleinfülltrichter des BMW 600 Motors eingesetzt und dient dort als flexible Dicht- und Entlüftungskomponente. Im Zuge einer Restaurierung sollte die Membrane grundsätzlich erneuert oder zumindest auf Elastizität, Rissfreiheit und korrekten Sitz geprüft werden, da gealterte Membranen häufig zu Ölnebel und Undichtigkeiten führen. Eine intakte Membrane trägt wesentlich zu einer sauberen Kurbelgehäuseentlüftung und einem dichten Öleinfüllsystem beim restaurierten BMW 600 bei.
