The reconditioned B6-01-0016 crankcase for the BMW 600 has been glass bead blasted, ultrasonically cleaned, and prepared for installation with inspected threads and threaded bolts. It serves as the central engine housing for the crankshaft and oil supply and is ideal for a professional engine overhaul as part of a classic car restoration. Since the oil passages have already been cleaned and the threads inspected, rebuilding the BMW 600 engine is significantly easier and operational reliability is increased.
