The Bosch 7-025 capacitor for the BMW Isetta electrical system protects the breaker contact from sparking, stabilizes the build-up of ignition voltage, and ensures a clean ignition spark. During restorations, the original capacitor—which is often aged—should always be replaced to prevent misfires and contact wear. Using a brand-name product significantly increases the reliability of the entire ignition system.
