The trim strip (Part No. 6-5009) for the BMW Isetta’s auxiliary dashboard covers edges, compensates for tolerances, and reduces vibrations between body and trim parts. During restoration, it is recommended to replace aged, brittle trim strips to prevent paint damage, rattling noises, and an uneven joint appearance. This restores the dashboard to its original condition, both technically and visually.
