The PVC trim with part number 6-0655 was fitted to the struts of the BMW Isetta’s folding top to cover sharp metal edges and prevent head injuries. During restoration, it replaces brittle or missing original trim strips and contributes to the authentic appearance and safety of the interior. Due to their age, special care must be taken when installing and removing used trim strips to avoid potential brittleness.
