The hot air hose (Part No. 5-130) with a diameter of 42 mm connects the heat source to the passenger compartment in the BMW Isetta and is crucial for heating performance and windshield defrosting. During restoration, brittle or cracked original hoses should be systematically replaced and laid without kinks to the required length of approx. 1.20 m to prevent heat loss and leaks. This ensures that the vehicle’s heating function remains reliable even during everyday use.
