Die Pedalwelle 5-048 im Grundmaß dient in der BMW Isetta als zylindrische Drehachse für die Fahrpedale und stellt eine spielfreie, stabile Lagerung sicher. Bei einer Restauration ersetzt sie eingelaufene oder korrodierte Originalwellen und reduziert damit Spiel und Geräusche in der Pedalerie. Die mitgelieferten Sicherungsringe erleichtern die fachgerechte Montage und sichern die Pedale dauerhaft gegen axiales Wandern ab.
