The rectangular bolt (thrust piece) with part number 4-110 is used on the front axle of the BMW Isetta for backlash-free power transmission and adjustment of axle and steering components. During restoration, worn or corroded thrust pieces should be consistently replaced, as they otherwise lead to play in the steering and a deterioration in driving stability. A new, dimensionally accurate bolt restores the original geometry and function of the front axle.
