The piston (Part No. 4-1052) for the ATE wheel brake cylinder 75.551 ensures pressure-tight and smooth piston movement in the drum brake of the BMW Isetta. During a brake restoration, it replaces corroded or worn original pistons, which are often responsible for leaks or uneven braking performance. This allows the original wheel brake cylinder to be reused and the rear axle brake to be repaired in a technically correct and durable manner.
