This original 2-spoke steering wheel for the BMW Export Isetta (Part No. 3-1366) transmits the driver’s steering movements directly to the front axle and is therefore a safety-critical component. Since it is used and has not been repaired, the hub and spokes should be carefully inspected during restoration for cracks, material fatigue, and corrosion, and refurbished if necessary. For an authentic classic car restoration, the correct export version with two spokes is of particular importance.
