The rectangular pressure piece 3-072 is used in the brake adjuster of the BMW Isetta front axle for linear force transmission from the adjusting screw to the brake shoes. During restoration, worn or corroded pressure pieces should be replaced, as they impair precise adjustment and thus the braking effect. A new pressure piece restores the original geometry and thus the correct function of the drum brake.
