The empty housing of the brake adjuster 3-0711 provides the precise bearing and guide for the adjusting screw and pressure plates of the BMW Isetta’s front axle brake. During restoration, corroded or cracked original housings are often replaced to restore smooth and precise adjustment of the brake shoes. This allows the original mechanism to be reused, while the worn housing is replaced with a precisely fitting new part.
