Für eine hochwertige Restauration sollten Dichtflächen, Rohrstutzen und Korrosionsstellen sorgfältig geprüft, aufgearbeitet und gegebenenfalls konserviert werden. So wird eine dichte und strömungsgünstige Luftführung wie im Originalzustand wiederhergestellt.
