The used intermediate shaft 2-99964 (2-020) from the BMW Isetta transmission is particularly suitable as a basis for an overhaul or as a source of replacement parts during a transmission overhaul. Before installation in the restored vehicle, all bearing and sealing surfaces, keyways, and gear contact areas should be carefully inspected and, if necessary, reground or repaired. This allows the original transmission function of the BMW Isetta to be reliably restored using as many original parts as possible.
