Gear 2-040 with a collar bushing for the BMW Isetta transmission transmits torque between the transmission shafts and is precisely guided on the shaft by the collar bushing. As part of a transmission overhaul, the gear teeth, bushing, and shaft fit should be inspected for wear and play and replaced if necessary to prevent noise and shifting problems.
