This BMW Isetta transmission (Part No. 2-00115) is used, unrepaired, and as-removed, making it ideal as a base for a complete transmission overhaul or as a parts donor. As part of a restoration, the unit should be completely disassembled, cleaned, measured, and rebuilt with new bearings, seals, and, if necessary, gears. This allows the untested transmission to be transformed into a technically flawless original part for the BMW Isetta.
