Dieses Verdeckgerippe (Art.-Nr. B7-16-1120) ist das tragende Gestänge für das Stoffverdeck des BMW 700 Cabriolet und bestimmt Faltmechanik, Passform und Dichtigkeit des Verdecks. Für eine hochwertige Restauration muss das gebrauchte, unreparierte Gestänge vollständig zerlegt, von Korrosion befreit, an Gelenken und Lagerpunkten überholt und gegebenenfalls gerichtet werden. Erst ein leichtgängiges, geometrisch korrektes Verdeckgerippe gewährleistet, dass ein neues Verdeck beim BMW 700 Cabriolet dauerhaft sauber anliegt und dicht schließt.
