The piston pin 1-0546 (D 20 mm, L 56.9 mm) precisely connects the piston to the connecting rod in the BMW Isetta engine and transmits the combustion forces to the crankshaft. During an engine overhaul or when replacing pistons and connecting rods, a worn or seized piston pin should always be replaced to prevent piston clearance, noise, and consequential damage. This part is particularly important for a durable and authentic restoration of the BMW Isetta.
