The Mahle/Nüral piston with a diameter of 72.94/72.95 mm and a 20 mm piston pin (Part No. 1-0499) is designed as an oversize piston for overhauled BMW Isetta engines and restores the correct compression in the honed cylinder. It replaces worn-out OEM parts, reduces oil consumption, and improves the engine’s smoothness. Crucial for a long-lasting restoration are professional cylinder machining to the appropriate oversize and installation with new piston rings and the correct piston clearance.
