The B7-07-0140 silent block with eccentric bushing is used in the BMW 700 to provide elastic mounting for chassis components and, at the same time, to allow for fine adjustment of wheel alignment. During a restoration, a new eccentric silent block enables the correct adjustment of toe and camber and eliminates play as well as deformations in aged rubber mounts. This restores the axle geometry to its original specifications and significantly improves handling.
