The 3.50" x 12" rim (Part No. B7-06-134) is designed for the BMW 700 and tire sizes 4.80x12, 5.20x12, 5.30x12 (diagonal) or 125R12 (radial) and forms the load-bearing base of the wheel. During restoration, a thorough inspection for corrosion, cracks, and lateral or radial runout is essential, as this rim transmits all forces between the road and the chassis. Only with a technically sound rim and proper tires can the original handling characteristics of the BMW 700 be reliably restored.
