The left carburetor cover B7-03-077 seals the left side of the carburetor on the BMW 700 and ensures the tight flow of fuel and air into the float chamber. During a restoration, warped, cracked, or corroded covers should be replaced, as they can cause leaks and air leaks. Careful inspection of the sealing surfaces and threads is essential for a permanently tight, authentic carburetor assembly.
