The clutch disc B7-02-0911 (180 mm, Fichtel und Sachs) transmits torque from the engine to the transmission in the BMW 700 engine and, with its springs, dampens torsional vibrations in the drivetrain. During a restoration, the disc should be inspected for the condition of the lining, hub teeth, and backing plate, and replaced with this new part if typical signs of aging, such as wear or oil contamination, are present, to ensure proper clutch function.
