The used exhaust valve (Part No. B7-02-0651) with a 34 mm disc diameter, 8 mm shank, and 3-groove keyway is intended for the BMW 700 engine, where it controls the exhaust flow from the combustion chamber. As part of a restoration, such a used part should be thoroughly inspected for wear, cracks, and dimensional accuracy before use and, if necessary, reworked or used only as a sample part. This allows the original design of the valve train on the BMW 700 to be preserved without compromising operational safety.
