This rocker arm bridge (Part No. B7-02-052) supports the rocker arms for the intake on the right and exhaust on the left in the BMW 700 engine and precisely transmits the camshaft movement to the valves. As part of an engine or cylinder head overhaul, a worn or cracked bridge should be replaced to minimize valve clearance, noise, and wear.
