Der Ventilsitzring für das 39,4 mm Einlassventil (Art.-Nr. B7-02-04592) bildet im BMW 600 die gehärtete Dichtfläche zwischen Einlassventil und Zylinderkopf und ist entscheidend für Kompression und Wärmeableitung. Im Zuge einer Motorrestauration sollten eingelaufene oder verbrannte Sitzringe durch neue ersetzt und anschließend präzise bearbeitet und eingeschliffen werden. So lassen sich Startverhalten, Leistung und Laufruhe des Motors nachhaltig verbessern.
