The oil slot top chamfer ring with a 0.5 mm oversize (Part No. B7-02-0452) is intended for overhauled or reworked seats on the BMW 600 carburetor and ensures a play-free fit and defined lubrication despite material wear. During restoration, the use of this oversize ring is recommended if the original bore has been worn out or reamed. This effectively reduces wear, leaks, and rough engine running.
