The B7-02-0408 piston ring set in the 3rd oversize (79.50 mm) is suitable for heavily worn BMW 700 Sport cylinders and ensures the necessary combustion chamber seal during extensive engine overhauls. It helps significantly reduce compression loss and oil consumption in restored BMW 700 carburetor engines. Very careful cylinder machining and checking of the installation clearances are particularly important with this oversize.
