The 4-piece piston ring set B7-02-0405 with a base diameter of 78.00 mm for BMW 700 sport pistons ensures proper sealing of the combustion chamber and defined oil flow in the cylinder. During engine overhaul or restoration of a BMW 700 with a carburetor engine, it replaces worn rings and restores compression and performance. Special attention must be paid to correct ring end play and clean ring grooves during installation to prevent consequential damage.
