The original BMW Isetta 250 cc engine with part number 1-0013 has been completely overhauled, test-run, and is particularly suitable for high-quality restorations where reliability and authenticity are paramount. By rebuilding it with new parts under the supervision of a master automotive technician, typical wear-and-tear issues found in older engines—such as bearing play, leaks, and loss of power—are largely eliminated. To ensure a long service life, break-in instructions, proper carburetor and ignition adjustments, and regular oil changes must be strictly followed.
